Yes, animals were harmed, not just during but before and after the making of this short film. I took great joy in killing flies in the summer of 2020.

My original intention to tackle the philosophical arguments for optimism, to craft my own argument and to come up with some sort of conclusion. That didn't work out. But it was okay. I masked my failed philosophical attempt with images of a mango. ​A very ripe mango was eaten in the making of this film.
